TOURISM CHAIN: ECONOMIC MISSION FOR 12 SME IN TURKEY

Rimini, 23 August 2005 – The Rimini Chamber of Commerce, conscious of the increasing economic importance of Turkey in Europe and all over in the world, in partnership with the Italian Trade Commission (ICE), is organizing an ECONOMIC MISSION in Turkey, from 28th September to 1st October 2005.

12 companies of our Region belonging to the tourism chain will participate to the event: in the programme two whole days are entirely taken up with business meeting one to one and the calendar of the companies’ visitations is going to be published.

The economic mission in Turkey, that is part of the “Forum on Tourism in the Mediterranean” bigger project (its fifth edition will be held in Rimini, from 27th to 29th November 2005), represents the last step that brought the Rimini Chamber to promote to its companies the knowledge of Turkey, a country characterized by an important economic expansion.

A scouting mission in Turkey (a consultant of the Rimini Chamber of Commerce went to Turkey from 16th to 19th May) was the first step of the initiative. June 9th, the Rimini Chamber organized a Country Presentation called “Turkey: opportunities for Italian companies belonging to the tourism chain. Comparison among different companies” in which the Chamber presented to its companies of the tourism chain concrete business opportunities in Turkey.
